Client: DB InfraGO
Project duration: 18 months
Service: Infrastructure Consulting
Project Description:
Line 4020 is an important railway connection within the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) on the Rhine–Alpine Corridor and is being equipped with the European Train Control System (ETCS) and digital interlockings (Digitale Stellwerke, DSTW). ETCS provides a standardised system for automatic train control, while DSTW enables the centralised digital control of railway infrastructure.
We supported DB InfraGO in the development of the technical requirements specification (Technische Aufgabenstellung, TAst) and provided comprehensive consulting services in the field of signalling and control technology (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik, LST). In close coordination with the client, we contributed to the integration of the new systems, supporting improvements in operational safety and efficiency.
The project focused on the planning and implementation phases, with particular emphasis on compliance with regulatory requirements and coordination with the project partners and stakeholders involved.
