We support public authorities, municipalities and transport operators in the planning, management and implementation of infrastructure and mobility projects in the rail sector and in public transport. Our range of services is modular and aligned with the respective project phases as well as with the technical, operational and organisational interfaces involved.
We take on tasks where technical, operational and organisational requirements converge – from the definition of project requirements and project management to the further development of efficient public transport services. In doing so, we place particular emphasis on transparent decision-making, a clearly structured project organisation and a realistic focus on implementability and operational viability.
Infrastructure Consulting
We support rail and rail-based mobility projects from the definition of requirements through to implementation, with particular expertise in railway systems under EBO, tram and light rail systems under BOStrab, and dual-system solutions.
Our services include the development of operational and technical specifications (BAst/TAst), professional system and component selection in signalling and control technology, the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents, as well as technical planning support and project management. In addition, we undertake tasks related to secondary construction supervision in accordance with relevant DB regulations. Technical requirements, planning and approval frameworks, as well as funding and economic aspects are considered within a consistent overall context.
Project Management
We provide integrated project management for complex infrastructure and public transport projects – structured, compliant with applicable regulations and with a clear focus on schedule, cost and quality assurance. We support both technically driven infrastructure projects and conceptual and planning processes in public transport.
Our services include the development of robust project structures, coordination of planning and project stakeholders, and the organisation and support of coordination, approval and decision-making processes. In the context of public transport, this particularly includes the structured support of planning processes, the involvement of public authorities and the preparation and support of political decision-making processes. In addition, we provide digital progress tracking and documentation, as well as active interface, risk and dependency management, to ensure projects are advanced in a technically sound, transparent and consistent manner.

We advise public transport authorities, municipalities and transport operators on the strategic development of public transport services – data-driven, practice-oriented and in compliance with relevant transport and procurement regulations.
Our services range from the update and further development of public transport plans to service, operations and vehicle scheduling, as well as the design and integration of flexible and demand-responsive services. We support the evaluation of financing and procurement strategies and the design of barrier-free and operationally viable services. The objective is planning that is strategically consistent and reliable in operation.

Unsere Mobilitäts- und Nahverkehrsplanung beinhaltet die Entwicklung und Optimierung von (multimodalen) Verkehrskonzepten für städtische und ländliche Gebiete, die Integration verschiedener Verkehrsmittel, Unterstützung bei Förderung des öffentlichen Verkehrs sowie bei der Planung von Rad- und Fußwegen.
In der LST-Beratung (Leit- und Sicherungstechnik) und Eisenbahnberatung bieten wir eine umfassende Begleitung und Projektsteuerung bei der Planung und Umsetzung von Signaltechnik, Sicherheitskonzepten, Streckenausbau, Instandhaltungsstrategien und betriebliche Optimierungen an.
Unser Luftverkehrsmanagement umfasst die Planung und Optimierung von Flughafeninfrastrukturen, die Entwicklung von Kapazitäts- und Effizienzsteigerungsmaßnahmen, die Umweltverträglichkeitsprüfung sowie die Beratung zu Sicherheits- und Regulierungsfragen im Luftverkehr.
Wir helfen dabei, geeignete Förderprogramme auf nationaler und EU-Ebene zu identifizieren und zu beantragen. Dazu gehören Mittel für Infrastrukturprojekte, nachhaltige Mobilitätslösungen, Forschung und Entwicklung sowie Innovationen im Verkehrssektor.
Unsere Herangehensweise an nachhaltige Verkehrslösungen umfasst die Analyse aktueller Verkehrsströme, die Förderung umweltfreundlicher Verkehrsmittel, die Integration erneuerbarer Energien in Verkehrssysteme sowie die Einbindung der Öffentlichkeit und relevanter Interessengruppen in den Planungsprozess.
Die Projektentwicklung von Eisenbahnprojekten (nach EBO und/oder BOStrab) gehört zum Leistungsportfolio der GICC GbR. Dabei können wir bei einer geplanten Streckenreaktivierung den gesamten Planungs- und Ausführungsprozess inkl. des Fördermittelmanagements fachtechnisch begleiten.
